 The first successful MAO applications in textile industry refer to 1989, when the «Corund» installation was introduced at the Alma-ata cotton plant to strengthen the rotors of pneumatic-spinning machines. The rotor operation conditions are rotation at a speed of 60,000 revolutions per minute, strong dynamic loads, and specific loads on the inner surface. Later, similar equipment was installed at many plants of textile industry in Russia and the former USSR republics. It is also possible to treat other parts of machine in the textile and sewing industries, e.g. spindles, thread guides, shuttles, bushes, rollers, etc.
